In a statement shared online, Bashir addressed the circulating rumours, stating that while it is true Buhari is receiving medical attention, claims of him being in intensive care are exaggerated and misleading.
He went on to appreciate the outpouring of prayers and goodwill from Nigerians and supporters around the world
Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has confirmed that former President Muhammadu Buhari is currently unwell but stable and responding well to treatment, contrary to reports suggesting he was critically ill and admitted to the ICU.
In a statement shared online, Bashir addressed the circulating rumours, stating that while it is true Buhari is receiving medical attention, claims of him being in intensive care are exaggerated and misleading.
He noted that Buhari remains stable and those close to him are optimistic about his full recovery.
He went on to appreciate the outpouring of prayers and goodwill from Nigerians and supporters around the world, urging everyone to continue praying for the former president’s complete recovery.
