Gwani Yusuf Hamza Yusuf Appointed Chairman of Holy Qur’an Reciters Union of Nigeria

The city of Kano witnessed a remarkable occasion today as Gwani Yusuf Hamza Yusuf, Director of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO), was officially appointed as the Chairman of the Holy Qur’an Reciters Union of Nigeria.

The historic appointment was conferred by His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the revered spiritual leader of the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria.

The ceremony attracted a host of dignitaries from across the country. In attendance was the former Governor of Kano State and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Also present was former Kano governorship aspirant and close ally of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, Hon. Shaaban Sharada, alongside other notable political, religious, and community leaders.

Gwani Yusuf Hamza Yusuf, a man widely respected for his deep knowledge of the Qur’an, his unwavering faith, and his years of dedicated service to both religion and society, was described by many as deserving of the honor.
