Akoko Northwest Political Appointees Unite in Support of Tinubu 2027

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, political appointees under the Aiyedatiwa administration in Akoko Northwest Local Government Area held a solidarity meeting to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s continuity in 2027.

The well-attended gathering aimed to discuss the local government’s progress and featured key political stakeholders. Commissioner for Water Resources and Public Sanitation, Hon. Ayodele Akande, emphasized the Aiyedatiwa-led administration’s commitment to delivering democratic dividends to Ondo State residents.

Hon. Segunota Bolarinwa advocated for peace and unity among party members, while Special Assistant to the Governor and APC Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Obanla, commended Governor Aiyedatiwa and Honorable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO). Obanla cautioned against leadership criticism and cyberbullying, emphasizing that BTO and Governor Aiyedatiwa are their leaders.

Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Esan John Owolabi, expressed delight with the meeting and informed attendees that Governor Aiyedatiwa and Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo are united. He urged appointees to work for the party to ensure Tinubu’s 2027 victory and warned against politics of hatred.

Chairman Owolabi praised both Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Governor Aiyedatiwa, acknowledging their excellent performances in their respective roles. He noted that Dr. BTO is an asset and a proud son of the state.

The meeting concluded peacefully, with leaders passing a vote of confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration and Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Resolutions were made to support Tinubu 2027 and promote party unity.
