Comrade Adegoke Yinka Adebayo Celebrates Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Minister of Power, at 55

The Oyo State Coordinator of the Team Senator Oluremi Tinubu Support Group, Comrade Adegoke Yinka Adebayo, has felicitated with the Honourable Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu (Penkelemesi), on the joyous occasion of his 55th birthday anniversary.

In his goodwill message, Comrade Adegoke described Chief Adelabu as a patriotic leader, a bridge-builder, and a true son of Oyo State who has continued to distinguish himself in both public and private service. He commended the Minister for his passion for development, his commitment to national growth, and his resilience in the face of challenges.

According to him, “Chief Adebayo Adelabu is not just a Minister but a symbol of excellence, vision, and determination. His leadership style reflects humility, courage, and focus, which are rare qualities in today’s political landscape. At 55, he remains a shining light for the younger generation and an inspiration to many of us in Oyo State and beyond.”

Comrade Adegoke also used the opportunity to pray for the actualization of Chief Adelabu’s long-standing dream of becoming the Governor of Oyo State. He expressed confidence that Adelabu’s wealth of experience, administrative competence, and unwavering passion for the welfare of the people would translate into transformational leadership if given the chance to serve in that capacity.

He further noted that the celebrant has consistently demonstrated capacity, credibility, and character in his career trajectory—from the banking sector where he made remarkable impacts, to his foray into politics where he has remained a major player in the socio-political development of Oyo State.

Chief Adelabu, popularly known as Penkelemesi, is a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), a seasoned technocrat, and currently the Minister of Power of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
