Gift Volunteer Network Donates ₦550,000 to Support One-Year-Old Baby’s Heart Surgery; Mother Appeals for More Help

In a heartwarming act of compassion, Gift Volunteer Network, a humanitarian non-governmental organization founded by Mr. Belele David, has donated ₦550,000 to assist in the medical treatment of one-year-old Olajide Iremide Exalted, who is battling a severe heart condition.

According to medical reports, little Iremide was diagnosed with multiple holes in her heart and urgently requires corrective surgery in India to survive.

The organization stated that the donation aligns with its ongoing mission to provide humanitarian assistance through public contributions — focusing on critical areas such as healthcare, education, and family welfare.

Speaking on behalf of the founder, the State Representative, Omoboni Olusola Joseph, said the network was deeply moved by the child’s condition and the family’s financial challenges. He explained that the organization’s vision is rooted in standing for humanity and bringing hope to families in dire situations.

The child’s mother expressed profound gratitude to Gift Volunteer Network for their timely intervention, describing the gesture as a ray of hope during the family’s most trying time. She, however, appealed to the government, well-meaning Nigerians, and corporate bodies to come to their aid in raising the remaining funds required for the baby’s surgery in India.

Doctors have emphasized that the procedure must be carried out as soon as possible to prevent further complications and improve Iremide’s chances of survival.

Gift Volunteer Network also called on members of the public to join hands in saving the young girl’s life, stressing that even the smallest donation can make a life-changing impact.

While addressing Adeleke Reporter, Omoboni reiterated the organization’s commitment to championing humanitarian causes and urged Nigerians to support their mission so that more lives can be touched.

He added that the group believes in the power of collective kindness and that together, people can help Iremide live a healthy, happy life while giving hope to many more families in similar situations.

For those willing to contribute, the family and Gift Volunteer Network have provided verified donation channels to support the medical trip and surgery expenses.
