Akure, Ondo State — October 2025

As part of ongoing mobilization efforts for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Coordinator of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) in Akure South Local Government, Hon. Olaniyi Gbenga, has continued his ward-to-ward engagement, meeting with coordinators in Wards 4, 5, and 7.

The strategic tour, held ahead of the official inauguration of the movement’s local structure, aimed to strengthen coordination, foster unity among members, and rally more grassroots support for President Tinubu’s administration and future political agenda.

Speaking during the interactive sessions, Hon. Olaniyi Gbenga emphasized the need for sustained political mobilization and continuity in governance. He described President Tinubu’s leadership as transformational, highlighting the administration’s strides in infrastructure development, economic reforms, and investment-friendly policies that have positioned Nigeria for growth.

He further urged party faithful to stay united and committed to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC), assuring that GMT will continue to sensitize and mobilize residents at the grassroots level for effective political participation.

Accompanying the Coordinator on the tour were key members of the Akure South GMT leadership team, including Mr. Fasan (Secretary), Mr. Omololu Adetoye (Treasurer), and Mr. Tifase Babatunde (Public Relations Officer).

The tour, according to the team, will continue across remaining wards in Akure South as part of broader preparations for the forthcoming official inauguration of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu in the local government.
