Why 2026 Will Be Better For Nigerians Under My Husband –Remi Tinubu

Wife of the Nigeria’s president, senator Oluremi Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country will experience greater prosperity and stability in the coming year, 2026, under the leadership of her husband, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

She made this assurance while speaking at the 10th coronation anniversary of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi in Osun state after being conferred the title of Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. She boasted that the current transformative leadership of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu will result in the country’s economic growth and development in 2026, making Nigeria a dependable source of economic support to other nations.

She asserted that the administration of president Tinubu’s earlier bold and courageous economic reforms are showing promising results that will in 2026 put Nigeria’s name in global limelight.

She highlighted the importance of Nigeria’s peace and unity, emphasizing the important roles of traditional rulers in nation building and sustainability of country’s unity.

Senator Remi Tinubu praised Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi for his strong leadership which she said goes beyond the Ile Ife land and to the entire country. He enjoined the king to remain steadfast and committed to serving Nigerians and humanity at large.

Dignitaries at the event include vice president of Ghana, Nana Shettim, former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo, former Nigerian first lady, Patience Jonathan; state-governors: Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, Ademola Adeleke of Osun state, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State. Prominent traditional rulers at the event include the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, and the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke while speaking, congratulated the Ooni for his tenth year on the throne. He thanked the Ooni for his leadership which he described as transformative. He explained that his administration is committed to modernizing the Ile Ife through infrastructural development. Governor Adeleke revealed his administration plans to construct the first flyover in Ile Ife to lift the face value of the ancient city.
