Abe Igi Youth Parliament Visits Amotekun Commander Ahead of Crucial Summit.

The leadership of the Abe Igi Youth Parliament, alongside the Organizing Committee for the forthcoming Youth Parliament Summit, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, at the Amotekun Headquarters in Akure.
The visit formed part of the Parliament’s strategic engagement with key institutions toward ensuring a successful, secure, and impactful summit.
It also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable role played by the Amotekun Corps in safeguarding communities and strengthening grassroots security across Ondo State.
The delegation was led by Rt. Hon. Kayode Katola, Chairman of the Abe Igi Youth Parliament, who expressed deep admiration for Commander Adeleye’s exemplary leadership and the Corps’ steadfast commitment to maintaining peace, combating crime, and preserving the dignity of the people.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Katola described the Amotekun Corps as a pillar of community protection and a symbol of resilience within the Sunshine State.
He further emphasized the Parliament’s readiness to foster continued collaboration with the Corps, especially as preparations for the summit intensify.

In his response, Commander Akogun Adetunji Adeleye warmly welcomed the delegation and commended the Parliament for its visionary initiative.
He described the Youth Parliament Summit as a laudable platform capable of reshaping attitudes, enhancing leadership capacity, and preparing young people as responsible custodians of the future.
He further pledged the support of the Amotekun Corps toward ensuring the security and smooth execution of the summit’s activities.
