On the Ground with a Key Architect: Suleiman’s Kano Visit Highlights Strategic Development

Honorable Aminu Suleiman exemplifies a multifaceted and dynamic leadership style, distinguished by strategic vision, proactive execution, and an unwavering commitment to national development. His concurrent roles as Director General of the Tinubu Support Organization, Chairman of the Federal College of Education, Keana Nassarawa State, and Board Member of the Northwest Development Commission (NWDC) showcase a remarkable capacity for governance and stewardship.

This was recently demonstrated during his official visit to Kano, the strategic headquarters of the NWDC, where he led a distinguished board delegation to inspect the ongoing construction of the commission’s new office. Hon. Suleiman expressed profound satisfaction with the progress and quality of work, commending the contractors for their diligence on a project poised at the heart of Kano’s ancient commercial city.

His visit underscored a significant strategic insight: despite Kano being an opposition-led state, the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deliberately sited this pivotal headquarters there. This decision, championed by appointees like Hon. Suleiman, reflects a philosophy of inclusive and equitable development, ensuring proximity and centrality to all seven states of the Northwest region.

Hon. Suleiman’s proactive approach and meticulous attention to every assignment justify the immense trust placed in him by President Tinibu. He has consistently delivered on these responsibilities, a testament to his competence and dedication.

During the inspection, Hon. Suleiman emphasized that the new NWDC headquarters symbolizes the President’s deep commitment to fostering development across the entire Northwest, a mission he is proud to help lead. He lauded President Tinubu’s wisdom in establishing the commission as a transformative vehicle for regional progress and citizen empowerment, highlighting the instrumental role of the Renewed Hope Agenda in driving strategic infrastructure and human capital development.

In reaffirming his alignment with the administration’s vision, Hon. Suleiman pledged to mobilize the unwavering support and commitment of the Northwest people towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, confident in a continued partnership that delivers prosperity and growth for all.
