Akoko Northwest LG AMG stakeholders meets as BTO empowers 10 people with 2 million naira each

The Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG), Akoko North West today held a stakeholders meeting for all the wards in the local government which Crystalised in an empowerment program for selected leaders in the local government by the Honourable Minister of Interior who is also the financier of the support group, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

The stakeholders meeting was aimed at strengthening its political structure, energising supporters, and deepening public awareness of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s achievements as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections.

The large-scale mobilisation is fully supported and funded by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, whose commitment to grassroots political development and the success of the Tinubu administration remains steadfast.

The Director General of AMG, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, described the exercise as “a deliberate and structured effort to stabilise the organisation, reinforce internal cohesion, and sustain continuous sensitisation across the state.”

According to him, the meeting form part of AMG’s broader mission to consolidate support for President Tinubu’s mandate ahead of 2027, ensuring every community remains well-informed about the President’s reforms, policies, and transformative achievements in office.

Standing in for the Honourable Minister, the Director General gave out over twenty million naira of 2 million naira each to over ten selected leaders in the local government to further consolidate the commitment of the Minister to what he described as the BTO family.

The event brought together leaders and stakeholders of AMG across all the wards of the local government.
