Accord Party Suffers Major Setback in Osun
The Accord Party in Osun State has suffered a major setback as Mr. Afeez Akinola, blood brother to Hon. Wasiu Akinola (SSA to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Digital Media), led over 200 members to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifon-Osun, Orolu Local Government.
The defection event was facilitated by the Council Chairman, Hon. Abolade Nureni Adekunle (OneDay).
In the same development, the Tijaniyyah Society of Nigeria, Ifon-Orolu Branch, with over 500 members, pledged their total support for the APC and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
