It’s No Longer Mine”, Nasir El-rufai’s Wife, Hadiza Cries Out Over Loneliness
Hadiza Isma El-rufai, wife of former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has drawn attention to herself on X (Twitter) through a tweet she made lamenting loneliness.
Mrs. Hadiza El-rufai in the controversial tweet, stated that the federal capital territory (FCT) Abuja is indeed “fine” but that the city does not resonate with her soul as one’s home should. She thereafter added that Kaduna State indeed used to feel like a home but that is no more. She lamented that amid her sought for comfort, she is distressed by loneliness as her surrounding exuded loneliness and silence.
Abuja’s fine, but it ain’t home. Kaduna’s home but it ain’t mine no more…
I am, I said. To no one there. And no one heard at all, not even the chair”, she wrote.
In reaction to her lamentation over loneliness, Nigerians sought to understand why the former first lady of Kaduna State made such a distressful tweet amid the luxury and abundance that characterize her political and social status as first lady of Kaduna State barely three years ago.
Hence, it’s inferred from her tweet that Mrs. Hadiza El-rufai was referring to the political development in Kaduna State especially the political row between Nasir El-rufai, her husband and the incumbent governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani who became the governor of Kaduna State through Nasir El-rufai political mentorship.
Hence, Hadiza El-rufai’s tweet about her home in Kaduna State no longer hers, is suggestive of the soured relationship between her family and that of governor Uba Sani.
Some reactors to the former Kaduna state first lady’s tweet also alluded her lamentation over loneliness to a possible fall out with her husband, Nasir El-rufai. She is enjoined to seek comfort and companion in the arms of her husband.
While there is no report of Nasir El-rufai and his wife, Hadiza marriage experiencing any crisis, the former Kaduna state governor is currently not in Nigeria, his recent tweet suggests that he is in Egypt.
