PBATGMAPC National and FCT Executives Strategize for APC Victory, Reaffirm Support for Hon. Christopher
Maikalangu Ahead of February Elections
Abuja, Nigeria —

The Grassroots Mobilization for APC President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBATGMAPC) has strengthened its grassroots mobilization drive in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) following a strategic interface meeting between the National Executive Council (NEC) and the FCT Executive leadership, including Area Council and Ward Executives.
The meeting was convened at the request of the NEC to review preparedness and harmonise strategies for mobilizing FCT voters toward the re-election of all APC Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates in the forthcoming February 2026 Area Councils elections.
Present at the meeting were the FCT Coordinator, Mr. ThankGod Abu, the six Area Council Coordinators, Ward Leaders, and key members of the Board of Trustees (BOT), NEC, and FCT Executive Council of PBATGMAPC.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Engr. Anthony Adeola, charged members of PBATGMAPC to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts to ensure a comprehensive APC victory across the FCT.
Engr. Adeola specifically called for the massive re-election of the AMAC Chairman, Hon. Christopher Maikalangu, commending his leadership and the developmental strides recorded under his administration. He also urged members to work toward the re-election of the Abaji Area Council Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi, and the election of APC chairmanship candidates in the remaining Area Councils:
• Hon. Nuhu Daniel – Kwali Area Council
• Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa – Bwari Area Council
• Hon. Alhaji Yahaya Usman – Gwagwalada Area Council
• Hon. Samuel Shekwolo Danjuma – Kuje Area Council
According to him, the All Progressives Congress deserves a total victory in the 2026 FCT Area Councils polls, citing the visible developmental impact, improved governance, and people-focused service delivery currently being experienced across the FCT under APC leadership.
The National Secretary of PBATGMAPC, Mr. Eric Adile Iroajugh, in his address, urged FCT leaders of the movement to prioritise data-driven mobilization, voter mapping, and sustained community engagement as the backbone of electoral success.
He emphasised that ward-level organisation, household engagement, and issue-based communication would be critical in consolidating support for Hon. Christopher Maikalangu and other APC candidates ahead of the February elections.
Also speaking, the National Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Lawal Rabana, called on FCT leaders to demonstrate greater commitment, discipline, and unity, noting that the success of the APC in the FCT depends largely on effective grassroots coordination.
In the same vein, the Deputy National Coordinator, North, Dr. Abdul Yahaya, assured members that PBATGMAPC, as the premier APC support group, remains fully committed to delivering victory for the APC and its candidates in the February elections.
On behalf of the National Executive Council, PBATGMAPC leadership expressed deep appreciation to the AMAC Municipal leadership and members for their unwavering commitment to the APC and for their consistent mobilization in support of the re-election of Hon. Christopher Maikalangu.
Members were encouraged to sustain their energy, presence, and unity at the grassroots level as preparations intensify for the polls. The leadership emphasized that the responsibility before the movement is significant, and continued dedication will make the decisive difference.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to deepen mobilization efforts, strengthen community outreach, and ensure a resounding victory for Hon. Christopher Maikalangu and the APC across the FCT.
