PBATGMAPC Intensifies Grassroots Mobilisation Ahead of FCT Area Council Elections

The Grassroots Mobilization for the All Progressives Congress (PBATGMAPC) has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to deepening grassroots political engagement ahead of the forthcoming Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This assurance was given by Engr. Anthony Adeola, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of PBATGMAPC, during a strategic grassroots assessment visit to Kuje Area Council. The visit was aimed at evaluating mobilisation preparedness ahead of the Area Council elections scheduled for February 2026 across the six Area Councils of the FCT.

PBATGMAPC leadership stated that the organization—an APC-recognized Category A national grassroots support movement established in 2015—is fully prepared to deploy its expansive grassroots structures to secure victory for Hon. Danjuma Samuel, the APC candidate for the Kuje Area Council election.

Speaking during the visit, PBATGMAPC National Secretary, Eric Adile Iroajugh, described Hon. Danjuma Samuel as a leader with the requisite experience, capacity, and deep-rooted grassroots connections needed to effectively represent the people of Kuje. He expressed strong confidence in the candidate’s vision to deliver inclusive development and responsive governance.

Further reaffirming the organization’s readiness, Dr. Abdul Yahaya, Deputy National Chairman (North), assured that PBATGMAPC’s structures across wards, polling units, and communities in Kuje would be fully activated to drive voter sensitization, increase participation, and mobilize widespread support for the APC. He emphasized that sustained grassroots engagement remains the backbone of electoral success and democratic consolidation.

Also speaking, Alhaji Attahiru Ashaba, BOT North Central, noted that PBATGMAPC’s mobilisation strategy is anchored on unity, inclusiveness, and peaceful political participation. He stressed the deliberate engagement of youths, women, and community leaders, whom he described as indispensable stakeholders and drivers of grassroots mobilisation.
