WHY I LED APC WARD 10 EXECUTIVES OF AKOKO NORTH WEST TO ENDORSE ATERE, EHINDERO FOR SECOND TERM — Hon. Tanimola
Hon. Tanimola Emmanuel, Secretary of Arigidi–Erusu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has explained the reasons behind his leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward 10 executives in endorsing Hon. Fatai Atere and Hon. Ife Ehindero for second terms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Tanimola stated that the APC Ward 10 executives unanimously endorsed Hon. Fatai Atere, member representing Akoko North West Constituency I at the Ondo State House of Assembly, and Hon. Ife Ehindero, member representing Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
According to him, the decision was based primarily on the outstanding performances of both lawmakers within their relatively short period in office.
He noted that the achievements of Hon. Atere and Hon. Ehindero are visible, impactful, and widely felt across their constituencies, stressing that no other representatives can match even 15 percent of what they have delivered so far to the people.
Hon. Tanimola therefore appealed to all relevant stakeholders and party leaders to work collectively to ensure the re-election of the duo in the 2027 general elections, emphasizing that continuity in leadership would guarantee sustained development.
He described the endorsement as a compulsory responsibility, adding that leaders who are performing well deserve encouragement and support to enable them to deliver more dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
The LCDA Secretary also commended the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his progressive, people-oriented, and development-driven approach to politics, urging other elected and appointed office holders to emulate his example.
He further stated that Hon. Atere and Hon. Ehindero have remained consistent in following the political and developmental path laid by Hon. Tunji-Ojo, particularly in bringing tangible dividends of democracy closer to the grassroots.
In conclusion, Hon. Tanimola expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the Renewed Hope Agenda and for giving Akoko land the opportunity to serve at the federal level through Hon. Tunji-Ojo.
He assured the APC leadership of overwhelming support from the area, confidently projecting over 90 percent electoral victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
