Northern Nigerian Youth Leaders Forum Endorses President Tinubu for Second Term, Raises ₦200m Nomination Support

The Director General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, received a high-powered delegation of the Northern Nigerian Youth Leaders Forum (NNYLF) at the TSG national office.

The delegation was led by its Director General, Mallam Murtala Gamji, and comprised influential Northern Nigerian youth leaders from across the Northern region.

The visit was aimed at reaffirming the Forum’s unwavering support for the leadership and reform agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

During the meeting, the Northern Nigerian Youth Leaders Forum formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, citing his bold economic reforms, commitment to national unity, infrastructure development, and inclusive governance as key reasons for their decision.

In a significant show of support, the Forum also presented a cheque of ₦200 million to the Tinubu Support Group. The fund, according to the delegation, is dedicated to the purchase of the Presidential Nomination Form for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu whenever the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) releases the 2027 election timetable and the All Progressives Congress (APC) officially announces the sale of nomination forms.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai commended Northern Nigerian youths for their patriotism, foresight, and confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership.

He described the endorsement and financial commitment as a strong signal of growing grassroots support across the North for the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Mallam Murtala Gamji, in his remarks, emphasized that Northern Nigerian youths are firmly aligned with President Tinubu’s vision for a prosperous, secure, and united Nigeria, adding that the Forum is mobilized and ready to play an active role in the journey toward 2027.

The visit concluded with a reaffirmation of collaboration between TSG and Northern Nigerian youth leaders to deepen political engagement, national development, and sustained support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
