CYMS Appoints Mrs. Amarah Joseph as Substantive Administrative Officer

 

In a significant advancement for the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS), Mrs. Amarah Joseph has been appointed as the organization’s substantive Administrative Officer. This pivotal decision was officially announced during the first National Executive Meeting of CYMS, held today at the organization’s office, reinforcing its commitment to strong governance and institutional growth.

 

The appointment letter signed by the Director General, Chief Obinna Nwaka dated wednesday 28th January 2026, was presented to Mrs. Joseph in a ceremony attended by several high-ranking officials, including Comrade Ahmed Sanni, FCT Coordinator; Hajia Baiyee Aisha, Director of Finance; Prince Adeyemi Qudus, Director of Logistics; Hon. Kelechi Ugwumba, Director of Contacts and Mobilization; and Chief Obinna Nwaka, Director General of CYMS.

 

During the meeting, members of the National Executive expressed their confidence in Mrs. Joseph’s ability to enhance the administrative efficiency of CYMS. Her appointment is anticipated to improve coordination, documentation, and operational effectiveness within the organization.

 

Mrs. Joseph, a graduate of English Literature with a postgraduate diploma in Development Communication from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She previously served as a Program and Administrative Support Officer at Strategy and Innovation for Development Initiative (SI4Dev), where she successfully conducted community needs assessments, prepared work plans, and strengthened partnerships with donors.

 

Expressing her gratitude, Mrs. Joseph acknowledged the leadership’s trust in her capabilities and pledged to fulfill her duties with dedication, transparency, and professionalism.

 

As CYMS celebrates this milestone, it extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Amarah Joseph on her well-deserved appointment and wishes her success in her new responsibilities as Administrative Officer.
