Cubana Priest picks Tinubu over Obi years after saying ‘only Igbo president can fix Nigeria’
Pascal Okechukwu, the Nigerian socialite known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared he will back President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
The declaration is a sharp reversal from his 2022 remark that “only an Igbo president could fix Nigeria”.
The nightlife mogul declared his support for Tinubu on Instagram after the City Boy Movement (CBM) appointed him as a director in Imo state.
In his post, he framed the decision as a strategic move to fight for south-easterners from within the corridors of power.
