Terrorists Kidnap NSCDC Officer In Ekiti, Release Video Showing Victim Brutally Beaten

Aserving officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has been abducted by suspected terrorists in Ekiti State, with a disturbing video circulating online showing the captive being brutally beaten while pleading for mercy.
The incident was brought to public attention by social commentator and activist, Rinu Oduala, who raised the alarm over what she described as the apparent inaction of security agencies days after the officer’s abduction.
In a post shared on social media, Oduala said the abducted officer was filmed by his captors while being assaulted, adding that no visible rescue operation had been launched as of the time of her statement.
“A NSCDC officer has been reportedly kidnapped in Ekiti, Nigeria by terrorists who released this video brutally beating him. Till now, security agencies are yet to launch a search for him,” she wrote.
In the video reviewed by SaharaReporters, heavily armed men believed to be terrorists were seen ordering the abducted officer to face forward while repeatedly flogging him with a cane.
The victim appeared visibly distressed, crying and pleading with his captors to stop the assault.
“I don dey look. Sorry, I use Allah beg you,” the officer was heard saying in pidgin English as the attackers continued the beating.
The exact location of the incident within Ekiti State and the circumstances surrounding the abduction remain unclear as of press time.
