ONDO STATE CHAPTER

PRESS STATEMENT
APC ONDO STATE SHOWCASES THE BEAUTY OF ITS INTERNAL DEMOCRACY THROUGH SUCCESSFUL WARD AND LGA CONGRESSES AS STATE CONGRESS SETS IN: THE IMPERATIVE OF A BRIDGE BUILDER BETWEEN THE OLD AND YOUNGER GENERATIONS UNDER THE FRESH BREATH OF PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has once again demonstrated to the world the unmatched beauty and strength of its internal democracy. Through the just-concluded ward and LGA Congresses, our great Party has proven beyond doubt that it remains a true beacon of transparency, inclusivity, and people-driven processes. This exercise was not a mere formality — it was a resounding affirmation that the APC in Ondo State belongs to the people, not to any individual or cabal.
At the heart of this historic moment lies the urgent need for a genuine bridge builder between the old and younger generations as we approach State congress. The fresh breath of visionary and dynamic leadership now rising within our Party is the only force capable of forging this unbreakable bridge — a bridge anchored on wisdom, energy, innovation, and unwavering loyalty to the Party’s ideals. We stand resolute: this bridge will be built, and it will stand the test of time.
But let it be stated clearly and without mincing words: if the enemies of our great Party, championed by Ade Adetimehin and bankrolled by those funding the deliberate implosion of the APC in Ondo State — using federal resources, whether because they oppose the Governor or are driven by reckless overambition — believe they can sabotage this democratic triumph, they are living in a fool’s paradise. The APC mandate group, Ondo State chapter, calls out Ade Adetimehin directly and unequivocally: desist immediately from every attempt to create havoc and division! The reflection of the will of the people is not negotiable.
In a democracy, the majority will always have their way, while the minority will have their say.
Ade Adetimehin is a spent force who has long outlived his relevance in our great Party. For over nine years, he has shamelessly prioritised his private interests and bloated purse above the collective interest of the APC. We reaffirm, without apology, the absolute supremacy of the Party. Those desperately banking on him as bait to cause mayhem should listen carefully: his greed and shocking lack of political wit will soon visit upon them far more harm than good.
This entire democratic process is nothing short of a popular revolt against the poor, divisive, and self-serving leadership Ade Adetimehin has imposed on our Party for far too long.
Even from for the newbies, Adetimehin is a bad blood, we therefore add our voice to the thunderous and resounding chorus of the people of Ondo State — especially the teeming APC faithfuls — who are boldly declaring: *ENOUGH IS ENOUGH* of this shameful shenaniganism!
Let it be clear to every stakeholder: we must respect the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and exercise maximum restraint in our overzealousness. Party discipline is sacrosanct.
Ade Adetimehin has become a notorious red flag in the Ondo State political landscape — infamous for backstabbing, serial anti-party activities, arm-twisting of aspirants, and a repulsive demigod approach to political aspirations. He has long been rejected by the people. Enough is enough!
Those imported political mercenaries from Osun, Oyo, and parts of Okene cannot rescue this unpopular and rejected figure at the behest of federal resources. Even if another face were cleverly fronted in his place, it would make no meaningful difference. An outcast overwhelmingly rejected by the Party faithfuls cannot be rehabilitated by external forces.
The fresh breath of leadership has arrived. The bridge between generations will be constructed. The will of the people shall prevail. The APC in Ondo State will emerge stronger, more united, and totally victorious.
