The Ondo State Amotekun Corps has apprehended a suspect, identified as Ejigbo Oni, in connection with the alleged beheading of a recently buried elderly man in Supare, Akoko area of Ondo State.
The shocking incident has sparked outrage and disbelief across the community, with residents demanding swift justice and stronger measures to curb ritual-related crimes.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly confessed during interrogation and claimed he acted alone. He reportedly stated that the act was motivated by plans to use the human head for money rituals. Following his arrest in Supare, the suspect was transferred to the Amotekun headquarters in Akure for further questioning and legal procedures.
