- SECURITY ALERT – Motorists Urged to Avoid Obajana–Kabba Road for Night Travel
Motorists have been urged to avoid night travel along the Obajana–Kabba road, particularly the Oshokoshoko area, due to security risks.
Travelers coming from the South, West, or East heading north are advised to find accommodation in Kabba if their journey extends beyond 7:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, those traveling from the North to other regions of the country are encouraged to spend the night in Lokoja before continuing their journey.
The warning follows increasing concerns that the Obajana–Oshokoshoko axis has become one of the most dangerous roads in Kogi State after dark.
