Distinguished guests, respected elders, industry leaders, members of the press, and the vibrant youths of Yorubaland,
It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that we gather here today under the banner of the Yoruba Youth Assembly to celebrate excellence, integrity, and impactful leadership.
Today, the 11th day of March, 2026, we honor a distinguished son of Yorubaland whose dedication to innovation, leadership, and national service has positioned him as a shining example of visionary leadership — Hon. Olushola Olofin.
In an era where our nation requires strong leadership, innovation, and integrity in both the private and public sectors, Hon. Olofin has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment to national development. With a successful career spanning the technology and business sectors, he has played a significant role in advancing enterprise, innovation, and professional excellence.
Through his leadership in the ICT industry and his contributions to corporate management, he has helped drive technological solutions and business growth that support economic development and organizational efficiency.
Today, in his role as Chairman of the Board of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, Hon. Olofin continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to public service by supporting policies and initiatives that promote workers’ welfare, institutional accountability, and social protection for Nigerian workers.
We also recognize his firm support for the national development vision of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly the Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to strengthen economic growth, institutional reforms, youth empowerment, and national prosperity. Through his leadership and public service, Hon. Olofin has remained a strong supporter of initiatives aimed at promoting good governance, economic stability, and opportunities for Nigerians.
Furthermore, the leadership of the Yoruba Youth Assembly looks forward to his continued guidance and support in mobilizing and strengthening the commitment of the people of the Southwest toward sustaining progressive leadership and ensuring that the region continues to play a strategic role in national development as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.
