PRESS RELEASE
The Akoko Youth Forum, an indigenous and community based association, has successfully conducted the election of new executive members following a thorough screening and ratification process by the stakeholders and the duly constituted electoral body.
Let me begin by addressing an important issue. There have been misconceptions and deliberate falsehoods from some quarters suggesting that AYF exists as a partisan platform to fight or oppose individuals. This is not only incorrect but misleading, fake narrations from rejected and dejected mindset of finished followers.
AYF was not founded on division, propaganda, or selfish interests driven by shallow displays of loyalty for personal gain. Our core mission remains clear and unwavering to unite, reconcile, and strengthen the bond among our leaders and our people. We believe in love, mutual respect, and collective progress.
As the Electoral Chairman, I, Comrade Adojutelegan A A extend my profound appreciation to the founder of this noble forum, Temitope Balogun Joshua, for his unwavering love and enduring commitment to the Akoko community. I also commend the pioneers, past leaders and stakeholders whose resilience and dedication have sustained the association through challenging times.
The Akoko Youth Forum remains the only community based platform within Akoko that brings together all indigenous groups, people and community forums under one umbrella. Our strength lies in our unity, inclusiveness and the absence of division among our people.
I wish to reiterate that the Forum is strictly non-partisan and open to all individuals of Akoko origin, irrespective of their profession, status or affiliation. Our collective focus is the growth, unity and sustainable development of Akoko land.
I hereby call on all Akoko indigenes to take advantage of this platform and join hands with us in advancing the progress of our community. The Forum remains open to all who share in this vision and are committed to the development of Akoko. In view of the above,i want to present and declare the underlisted names as the new executives of the forum after holistic screening and ratification by the stakeholders and electoral body.
