“Ondo North Youths Slam Senator Ipinsagba Over Missing ₦80M Motorcycles, Demand Proof Now”
Indigenes of Ondo North Senatorial District today slammed Senator Jide Ipinsagba, demanding he immediately publish dated photographs of the distribution and a complete list of beneficiaries for Project Code ERGP20243398, as enshrined in the 2024 Federal Appropriation Act. This ₦80,000,000 initiative, funded by the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN), is designated for the supply and distribution of motorcycles and grinding machines to men and women across the district to foster economic empowerment and livelihoods. Despite the project’s clear approval and allocation in the national budget, residents report no evidence of execution or delivery to date, raising serious allegations of embezzlement against the Senator.
Ondo North Youth fiercely condemned Senator Ipinsagba’s silence, accusing him of potentially pocketing the ₦80 million meant for struggling indigenes. They demand verifiable proof of distribution, photographs from the events and a public beneficiary register, to expose whether the funds have truly reached the people or vanished into private pockets. This constituency intervention was designed to deliver practical tools for transportation and small-scale agro-processing, yet the total absence of delivery reeks of betrayal amid Nigeria’s economic woes.
Ondo North Youth specifically demand dated photographs capturing the actual distribution ceremonies, a comprehensive and publicly accessible list of beneficiaries including verification details, and a clear timeline for any outstanding deliveries if applicable. Failure to comply will trigger formal petitions to oversight bodies and a direct petition to the ARCN to expose the contractor awarded the project and uncover the embezzlement of these vital funds. Senator Ipinsagba must answer now or face the full weight of public outrage for robbing Ondo North of its rightful empowerment.
