ORON FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY;LET US PLAY POLITICS WITH FAIRNESS,YOU CANNOT TAKE EVERYTHING.

On Martin’s Esin;Oron and Udung Uko has one State Constituency,so Oron must go for 4yrs and Udung Uko Must go for 4yrs.

At that meeting the issue of moving motions for endorsement should not have arisen because that was not on the Agenda.

Also,any meeting held to decide issues concerning Oro should be held in Oro or,in Oro house in Uyo but,not in a hotel in Uyo.

Likewise,whenever a meeting is called,the Agenda of the meeting should be followed. There should be no manipulation where the agenda is abandoned and strange things are imported into the discussion.

The Agenda for the meeting was to deliberate on the issues surrounding Maritime University and not for moving of political motions. Even after the meeting,many elders were displeased by the manipulation of the agenda.

In Akwa Ibom State the three people who have received Statewide endorsements by the good people of the State are President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,The Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio and Governor Pastor Umo Eno (Phd) because of their outstanding performances and good leadership.

When someone is elected into an office,they should perform and represent the people well.

People who refused to perform while in office should not think of forcing themselves on the people when the time comes or resort to blackmail to gain favours.

But even ,as you are blackmailing know that the blackmail will return to you and your family someday it maybe in your lifetime or after.

People should stop the propaganda that politics is pretense. We must do the politics of truth and be straightforward.

I am calling on the people of Oro to leave the politics of blackmail against one another and ,play the politics that will benefit Oro people both now and,in the future.

Oron LGA must maintain their position of Deputy Governor and,leave Federal House for Udung Uko LGA.

What Sir Victor Antai is saying is the right thing to do.
Take one and give your brother one Sir Victor stated.
He has spoken the truth. In politics you must speak the truth. Let us stop calling the person speaking the truth BITTER.

For example In Okobo LGA which is just one State Constituency, during the time of Rt. Hon. Chief Peter Linus UMO, He went for 4 yrs and was asked by Oro people to allow his brother from Atak Oro to also go to the House for 4yrs and, it happened as was agreed by the people of Oro.You must share with your brother.

Peter Linus performed creditably. He bought cars for people in his Constituency, granted scholarships,gave various empowerment etc. but,he was voted out and,Robinson Uwak won and completed the 4yrs in the spirit of sharing with the brother in another development Area.

Oron and Udung Uko case is even a clear case. Oron must hold unto their position of Deputy Governor which Dist. Sen. Akon Eyakenyi is occupying and, allow Udung Uko to go to the Federal House come 2027 because they both belong to the same State Constituency. One Local Government Area cannot take the two
big positions.

That is the position maintained Sir Victor Antai the executive director project NDDC which is the truth based on very clear facts.
There is nothing contentious in this. It is not what should generate quarrelling in any way.

THE POSITION IS THAT:
ORON LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA MUST TAKE ONE OFFICE ( DEPUTY GOVERNOR WHICH IT IS CURRENTLY OCCUPYING THROUGH DR. SEN. AKON EYAKENYI)
AND, ALLOW UDUNG UKO TO TAKE ONE OFFICE WHICH IS THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COME,2027.
