Ajipe Secures ICC Endorsement, Gains Momentum Across Akoko South East

The Independent Campaign Council (ICC) for Chief Alexander Oluremi Ajipe held a pivotal meeting today at Isua Hotel in Akoko South East Local Government Area. Attended by representatives from all 11 wards, the gathering resulted in a unanimous endorsement of Chief Ajipe as the preferred candidate for the Ondo North Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general election

The ICC pledged an aggressive mobilization drive, deploying dedicated foot soldiers across remote camps, villages, and urban towns throughout the LGA to secure Chief Ajipe’s victory “across the board.” This strong commitment stems from years of perceived neglect under the current senatorial representation, which has left the area grappling with severe challenges inaccessible roads to Ifira and other remote camps that severely restrict farmers access to markets and essential services; a surge in kidnapping incidents that have become the order of the day, coupled with zero support for local based security outfits like community vigilantes; dilapidated infrastructure failing to connect camps and farmlands to nearby towns, stifling economic activity; and critically low investment in youth and human capital development, leaving the younger generation without skills training, job opportunities, or empowerment programs. These issues have compounded poverty, insecurity, and underdevelopment, prompting the ICC’s decisive action.

Chief Ajipe, a proven leader with a track record in public administration, youth advocacy, and economic facilitation including his role in employing 250 graduates across Ondo State’s 18 LGAs during Governor Arakunrin Akeredolu’s tenure brings the experience needed to reverse these trends.

ICC Coordinator for Akoko South East, Agada John (aka Oyinkansola Max), declared: “In a landmark move, Akoko South East ICC has hit the ground running for Chief Alex Ajipe. We are fully committed to delivering the entire Ondo North Senatorial District to him, putting an end to the era of neglect and ushering in real, tangible development for our people.” Ward representatives echoed this sentiment, with one stating, “Chief Ajipe understands our pains and has the integrity and network to deliver roads, security, and jobs.”
