I never endorse Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti Sen Alasoadura clears Air.

It has become necessary to address and correct the misleading narrative making the rounds that Senator Donald Alashoadura has endorsed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti for the Ondo Central Senatorial seat.

For clarity and the sake of truth, no such endorsement was made.

What transpired was a routine and respectful political engagement—Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti’s visit to Senator Alashoadura was solely to declare his intention and solicit support, in line with democratic norms. This is neither new nor unusual. Several aspirants, including Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, Hon. Makinde, Hon. Adu Olumuyiwa, and others preparing to signal their interest, have undertaken similar consultations as part of the political process

It must therefore be emphasized that such visits are acts of courtesy and consultation, not platforms for endorsement.

Senator Donald Alashoadura remains a respected elder statesman whose stature commands neutrality, fairness, and openness to all aspirants. His role at this stage is not to impose choices on the people, but to provide guidance where necessary and allow a level playing field for all.

Any attempt to twist this simple interaction into an endorsement is misleading and does not reflect the reality of the engagement.

Ondo Central deserves a political process anchored on truth, integrity, and mutual respect. The people must not be misled by narratives that seek to create undue advantage where none exists.

Let it be clearly stated: consultation is not endorsement, and Senator Alashoadura has not endorsed any aspirant for the Ondo Central Senatorial seat.
