**Amb. Adedamola Rasak Kazeem Leads Sensitization Drive for Continuous Voter Registration**

In a bid to strengthen democratic participation among young Nigerians, **Ambassador Adedamola Rasak Kazeem**, Founder and Chairman of the **National Progressive Platform for Youth (NPPY)**, joined leaders in Alimosho Federal constituency to embark on a grassroots sensitization campaign to encourage citizens to take advantage of the ongoing **Continuous Voter Registration (CVR)** exercise on Saturday, 6th September 2025.

Speaking with the media at the sensitization outreach in Alimosho, Lagos, Amb. Kazeem emphasized that democracy can only thrive when citizens are actively involved in the electoral process. He urged especially the youth, women, and first-time voters to register and secure their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), describing it as their β€œpowerful tool for shaping the future of Nigeria.”

> *β€œOur votes are our voices. Registering and obtaining your PVC is the first step towards influencing governance, demanding accountability, and driving national progress,”* he said.

The sensitization activities, organized under the umbrella of APC in Alimosho Federal Constituency, rolled out across the local government area with a focus on markets, campuses, and community centers. Volunteers are engaging the public through town-hall talks, distribution of flyers, and digital campaigns, making the message accessible to both urban and rural dwellers.

Amb. Kazeem further assured that NPPY will continue to support government institutions, civil society organizations, and youth groups in deepening voter education ahead of the next general elections.

The initiative has already drawn commendation from community leaders and young people who see the campaign as timely and impactful. With CVR still ongoing, Amb. Kazeem has pledged to intensify the awareness drive until every eligible Nigerian understands the importance of registering and voting.

**β€œThe future belongs to the people who show up,”** he reminded participants, adding that registering today is the pathway to building a progressive Nigeria tomorrow.
