Gov. Fintiri pledges to appoint more Igbos into his cabinet IN Adamawa
The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, has announced his intention to appoint additional Igbos to his cabinet as part of his commitment to fostering an inclusive government.
Gov. Fintiri made this statement while welcoming members of the Igbo Cultural Association of Adamawa State at a banquet held at the Government House in Yola.
The governor expressed his gratitude to the Igbo community for their unwavering support and assured them that more Igbos would be appointed by his administration as part of his efforts toward an inclusive governance.
During the visit, the Eze Ndi Igbo, Dr. Steven Madwa, thanked the governor for the improved security in Adamawa State, highlighting that it has created a safe environment for businesses to flourish without fear.
Emmanuel Aneke, the President General of the Igbo Cultural Association, also expressed appreciation to the governor for his inclusive approach, which has fostered a sense of belonging for the Igbo community in Adamawa State.
He lauded the efforts of the governor in tacking insecurity in the state and also diversifying the infrastructural system of the state which.
He further pledged their ongoing loyalty and support for the current administration by the Igbo Community.
