Chief Lawrence Adenugba Salutes Governor Aiyedatiwa for Paying ₦2.4 Billion

Gratuity to Retirees
A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Lawrence Adenugba, has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his recent approval and payment of ₦2.4 billion gratuity to retired civil servants in the state.

 

Chief Adenugba described the gesture as a commendable act of compassion and responsibility, reflecting the governor’s genuine commitment to workers’ welfare and social justice. He noted that the payment of gratuities, which had been long overdue, would bring relief to many senior citizens who had served the state meritoriously.

 

According to him, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s action demonstrates good governance and humane leadership, setting a clear example of what it means to value the contributions of the state’s workforce both during and after service.

 

Adenugba further urged public servants to remain diligent and committed, assuring them that the Aiyedatiwa-led government would continue to reward hard work, integrity, and loyalty.

 

He also called on political stakeholders and residents of the state to continue supporting the governor’s developmental agenda, emphasizing that the ongoing reforms and people-centered policies are laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth and prosperity in Ondo State.

 

Chief Adenugba concluded by praying for greater wisdom and strength for Governor Aiyedatiwa as he continues to steer the state towards progress and stability.
