EMPOWERMENT, COMPASSION AND COMMUNITY:
HON. T. BELLO MAKES STRONG IMPACT AT UGBE QUARTERS’ ANNUAL CARNIVAL

Community development came alive at the Ugbe Quarters’ Annual Carnival as Honourable T. Bello, Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Innovation, extended meaningful empowerment to residents across Akoko South East Local Government Area.
The annual carnival, widely celebrated for its cultural richness and spirit of unity, took on a deeper social significance as the empowerment initiative brought relief, encouragement and renewed hope to many households.
*Inclusive Empowerment Across the 11 Wards*
Demonstrating a strong commitment to fairness and inclusiveness, one beneficiary was selected from each of the eleven wards in Akoko South East Local Government Area. This deliberate approach underscored Hon. T. Bello’s belief that development must be balanced and that no community should be left behind.
*Standing with Widows*
In a compassionate gesture that resonated deeply with the community, fourteen widows from Ugbe Quarters received financial support of ₦5,000 each. Though modest, the assistance symbolised empathy, dignity and a clear recognition of the challenges faced by widows within the society.
*Investing in Education and the Future*
The empowerment programme also prioritised education. Three students were supported with ₦5,000 each, reaffirming the understanding that nurturing young minds is essential to building a sustainable and prosperous future for Akoko South East and Ondo State as a whole.
*Leadership Rooted in Human Impact*
Through this initiative, Hon. T. Bello illustrated that effective leadership goes beyond policy formulation to direct community engagement and tangible impact. The programme aligns seamlessly with the people-centred vision of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s administration, which places strong emphasis on innovation, inclusion, and grassroots development.
*A Carnival to Remember*
The Ugbe Quarters’ Annual Carnival will be remembered not only for its vibrant celebrations, but also for the sense of belonging, encouragement and hope it brought to many families. The empowerment initiative served as a powerful reminder that sincere, community-driven interventions, no matter the size can leave lasting impressions and strengthen social bonds.
