Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made a strategic change in his cabinet. Barrister Christopher Green, previously the Commissioner for Sports, will now take on the role of Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
This shift was announced in an official statement from Dr. Honour Sirawoo, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Barrister Green won’t be leaving the sports sector entirely. He will still manage activities in the Ministry of Sports until a new Commissioner is appointed.
This decision, effective immediately, was made at the final State Executive Council meeting of 2025. It reflects the Governor’s focus on enhancing governance and ensuring effective service delivery across key ministries.
