FIRST SUNDAY OF 2026: A CALL TO PRAYER, PURPOSE AND DESTINY

As the sun rises on the first Sunday of 2026, Chief Engr.Dr. Olayinka Daodu has charged the good people of Akoko South East and South West Federal Constituency to begin the year on a solid spiritual footing through prayer, reflection and total dependence on God.
He urged members of the constituency to pray fervently for themselves, for the unity and progress of Akoko South East and South West, and for Ondo State at large. According to him, no meaningful journey can begin well without divine guidance and no vision can be fulfilled without God directing the steps of His people.

Chief Engr.Dr. Olayinka Daodu emphasized that as individuals and as a constituency, 2026 should be a year where decisions are not driven by haste or personal interests, but by faith, wisdom and a collective desire for growth.
He called on everyone to allow God to order their steps in all endeavors; whether personal, professional, or communal, so that the year will yield lasting fruits.

This call to prayer also reflects the deep-seated conviction behind Dr. Daodu’s aspiration to serve as the next Member of the House of Representatives (MHR) for Akoko South East and South West Federal Constituency. His ambition is anchored not merely on political interest, but on a divine sense of purpose to serve, to unite and to bring purposeful representation that aligns with the will of God and the yearnings of the people.

As the constituency looks ahead with hope, Chief Engr.Dr.Olayinka Daodu reassures the people that with prayers, unity and God’s direction, Akoko will rise to its full potential.
Indeed, a journey that begins with God can only lead to greatness.

2026 begins with prayer, proceeds with purpose and promises progress.
