I had the privilege of meeting with the State Coordinators of the APC Electronic Registration Exercise yesterday at the National Secretariat of our party in Abuja.

It was a productive and frank engagement. Beyond exchanging pleasantries, I used the opportunity to communicate a very clear message that no APC member must be left behind in this historic exercise.

I reminded the coordinators that electronic registration is not just a routine party activity. It is a strategic pillar for the future of the APC. It strengthens our internal democracy, improves our data integrity, and positions the party for effective mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

A party that knows its members, protects their records, and values their participation is a party that will always be ready to win.

I made it clear to them that I will personally monitor this exercise and that every coordinator will be held accountable for the success or failure of the registration in his or her state.

This is not a box-ticking assignment; it is a national responsibility.

I also urged them to take the registration down to the grassroots — wards, polling units, and communities — so that no loyal APC member is excluded because of distance, ignorance, or logistical challenges.

Technology must serve the people, not shut them out.
Our party is growing, our structures are expanding, and the APC, under my leadership, is building a modern, data-driven, and people-centred political organisation.

The e-registration exercise is a major step in that direction.

I left the meeting encouraged by the commitment shown by the coordinators. Together, we will deliver a registration process that reflects the strength, discipline, and unity of the All Progressives Congress.
