STATEMENT FROM THE TINUBU SUPPORT ORGANISATION (TSO)

The Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), under the able leadership of its Director General, Hon. Aminu Sulaiman wishes to issue this statement in response to the recent allegations and criticisms being circulated in certain quarters.

TSO remains a committed, grassroots-driven movement established out of genuine love, loyalty, and confidence in the leadership and vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

We played a pivotal role in the vigorous and highly successful campaign that culminated in the emergence of our candidates as victors in the last election, by the grace of God.

It is important to clarify and set the record straight on key facts:

1. Governance vs. Campaign Dynamics:

Campaigning and governance are fundamentally different endeavors.
While campaigns are intense, time-bound efforts focused on mobilisation and victory, governance involves structured processes, statutory procedures, budgetary considerations, and phased implementation.

* Appointments and remunerations do not materialise immediately upon assumption of office. This is a well-established reality across administrations.

2. Appointments:

As the DG of TSO, Hon. Aminu Sulaiman’s first major appointment came approximately one year into the administration, when he was appointed as Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal College of Education (Technical), Keana, Nasarawa State.

Subsequently, last year, he was appointed as aboard member representing Kebbi State on the Governing Board of the newly established Northwest Development Commission (NWDC).

*It is pertinent to note that neither of these offices currently has an independent budgetary allocation or operational funding that translates to immediate personal or organisational benefits. The NWDC, in particular, is still in the early stages of becoming fully operational, and board positions are largely non-executive in nature at this point.

3. Ongoing Efforts for Broader Recognition:

TSO continues to engage constructively and lobby relevant authorities for appropriate appointments and placements for its dedicated leadership, coordinators, and members across various levels. We remain optimistic that these efforts will yield positive outcomes, rewarding the hard work, loyalty, dedication, and sacrifices of our teeming members who contributed immensely to the success recorded.
