Throwback to Six Years Ago

This video clip captures a historic moment from six years ago during our first courtesy visit to His Excellency, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, at the Kano State Government House, during his tenure as Governor of Kano State.

This was not a recent engagement, but a meeting from that period when I visited alongside members of the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO). Notably, it marked the first formal introduction of the vision of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as part of our early advocacy, political outreach, and stakeholder engagement across Nigeria.

The meeting was graced by His Excellency, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, who was then the Deputy Governor of Kano State and now serves as the Chairman of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, alongside several other top government functionaries and dignitaries of Kano State.

During the engagement, Dr. Ganduje formally introduced his Political Adviser, Mustapha Muhammad Bakwana—a key political figure then, and even more relevant today, as one of the principal forces behind the historic decamping of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to our great party, the APC, which took place today.

This throwback clearly underscores the fact that TSO has been actively engaged for years, consistently interfacing with high-level leaders and critical stakeholders in Kano State and across the country, all in pursuit of good governance, national unity, and sustainable development.

From then till now, TSO remains fully in action—focused, consistent, and unwavering in its commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, firmly supporting progressive leadership and the visionary direction of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

We remain undistracted, resolute in purpose, and committed to the mission—shunning all forms of noise from wailers and detractors as we continue to work for a better Nigeria.
