Hon. Akinrinwa Igbekele Felicitates with the 18 Local Governments on Ondo State’s 50th Anniversary

Hon. Akinrinwa Igbekele, Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government Affairs, has extended warm felicitations to the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State as the state marks its 50th anniversary.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Igbekele described the Golden Jubilee as a proud moment that reflects the resilience, unity, and steady progress of the state, driven largely by the contributions and development of the local governments over the years.

He commended the leadership, traditional institutions, community stakeholders, and residents across the 18 local government areas for their roles in promoting grassroots development, peace, and good governance, noting that local governments remain the backbone of sustainable development in the state.

Hon. Igbekele further praised Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his unwavering commitment to strengthening local government administration, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every ward and community.

“As Ondo State celebrates 50 years of existence, I felicitate with all the 18 local government areas for their enduring contributions to our collective growth,” he said. “Together, we will continue to build stronger institutions and a more prosperous future for our people.”
