GOVERNOR LUCKY ORIMISAN AIYEDATIWA IS STEADFASTLY LEADING THE APC TO GREATER VICTORY IN ONDO STATE – WE REJECT ENGR. ADE ADETIMEHIN’S UNFORTUNATE COMIC DRAMA

The APC Mandate Group has taken note of the unprecedented wave of political enthusiasm and unity sweeping across all 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State. This momentum is a direct testament to the historic and unprecedented victory of His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who made history as the first governor in Ondo State to secure victory in all 18 LGAs during the last governorship election.
We categorically dismiss the self-serving antics and manufactured crisis being orchestrated by Engr. Ade Adetimehin. These actions appear designed to sow discord, create a false impression of disarray within the party structure, and potentially establish an illegitimate parallel congress for personal financial or political gain—directly in defiance of the clear directives and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The so-called “drama” by Engr. Adetimehin is nothing short of laughable and transparent. It is a desperate, contrived attempt to garner undeserved sympathy on the eve of the scheduled ward congresses commencing tomorrow. In every democratic party in Nigeria, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), the sitting governor elected on the party’s platform is the recognized and indisputable leader of the party in the state. Governor Aiyedatiwa embodies this principle unequivocally.
Engr. Adetimehin cannot presume to be “more Catholic than the Pope.” Having exhausted his tenure as State Chairman, he lacks any legitimate standing to inflict further damage on the party as he exits the stage. We urge him to rise above petty theatrics, embrace the role of a true statesman, and allow the party to move forward in unity rather than persist as a comic actor in a poorly scripted play.
The APC in Ondo State remains rock-solid, united, and cohesive under the visionary leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. There is no chaos, no division, and no parallel structure. Our commitment to the non-negotiable victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 is absolute—just as Governor Aiyedatiwa delivered a resounding, comprehensive mandate in the last election.
The APC Mandate Group reaffirms its unshakeable commitment and total support for to the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State. We stand ready to deliver even greater victories for the party. The President, and the people of Ondo State desires the Aiyedatiwa magic spark in the last election, to secure an unprecedented victory for the APC Presidential candidate and leader of our party, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).
