ANOTHER PROMINENT GROUP ENDORSES PROF. SIMIDELE ODIMAYO FOR ONDO SOUTH SENATORIAL SEAT
As the senatorial election approaches in the Ondo south senatorial district, another notable group has endorsed the candidature of the professor of microbial pathology, Prof Simidele Odimayo describing him as the right man needed at this critical time.
The group known as *Not Too Young to Rule*, a national youth advocacy movement, endorsed the renowned medical expert, Prof Simidele Odimayo as its preferred candidate for the Ondo South Senatorial seat
The announcement was made during a press briefing held in Akure. In his address, the group’s president, Hon. Ogundairo, stated that the decision was informed by Prof. Odimayo’s intellectual capacity, professional integrity, and extensive experience in healthcare policy.
“The Professor’s humane approach to situations makes him a suitable representative for the district, Hon. Ogundairo emphasized.”
Accordingly, a renowned legal practitioner, Barr. Oladele Oke lauded the candidate’s humility and simplicity, citing these as essential traits for effective public service.
Also speaking at the event, a financial expert and public analyst, Mr. Akin Nenuwa noted Prof. Odimayo’s history of philanthropy, specifically his contributions toward human capacity building and community development.
In his acceptance remarks, Prof. Odimayo expressed his gratitude for the group’s endorsement, describing the move as a significant step. He encouraged the movement to continue its advocacy by building alliances with other youth-led organizations, asserting that his representation would prioritize the socio-economic transformation of Ondo South.
