Kwankwaso breaks silence on Purpose of His Meeting With Gov. Makinde
Former governor of Kano state and national leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has confirmed that he met with the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde today.
We had reported earlier today that Kwankwaso’s and his entourage were spotted in the Oyo State government house. The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for 2023 has now revealed through his X account that his meeting with governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is concerning pressing national issue.

Speculation has it that the meeting of the duo might be linked to the 2027 presidential election and Kwankwaso’s presidential ambition.
According to speculators, Kwankwaso might be plotting to contest the 2027 presidential election with governor Seyi Makinde as his running mate.
The NNPP chieftain had vaguely enjoined the opposition coalition party-African Democratic Congress (ADC) to give him the party’s presidential ticket for 2027 or make him its vice presidential candidate.
