“I don’t know how long I have to live on earth”, Nyesom Wike says as he declares final stance on Fubara’s reelection

 

Former governor of Rivers state and the minister for federal capital territory (FCT) Abuja, Nyesom Wike has reiterated that he will not be cowed into making a political decision he considers unprofitable by supporting the political ambition of those he described as improbate.

Nyesom Wike made the remark while hosting his political allies from Rivers state across political parties as well as Rivers state delegates for the All Progressive Congress (APC) national congress.

The former governor of Rivers state declared that he is unaware of the number of years he has on earth, stating the even so, he is certain that he will not make similar political mistake he made in Rivers state in 2023 by supporting the emergence of governor Sim Fubara.

According to him, no amount of intimidation or blackmail will make him support governor Sim Fubara reelection ambition.

 

He told his allies that it’s within their will to decide whether or not to support governor Sim Fubara but that he has concluded that he will not support Fubara’s reelection.

 

 

No amount of intimidation, no amount of blackmail will make me to make the mistake again.

If anybody is bringing money to you, it’s your business. I will not make a mistake again. I don’t know how long I have to live on this Earth, but I will not make that mistake again. So anybody who’s coming, they tell you, Give it this, give it this, it’s your business”.
