Reaffirming Truth, Integrity, and Fair Representation

Our attention has been drawn to a publication alleging that certain *“Ifedore Elders” have issued directives concerning the 2027 electoral arrangements within the APC in Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.*

We wish to state clearly and unequivocally that there are no recognised groups nor does any such individual or group speak on behalf of Ifedore or its people. *The claims contained in the said publication are therefore false, misleading, and should be wholly disregarded.*

The publication in question is the handiwork of dishonest and self-serving individuals seeking to create confusion, distort facts, and mislead the public for personal gain. Such actions are inimical to the unity, credibility, and democratic principles upon which our constituency is founded.

Furthermore, we advise those promoting this narrative to pursue their ambitions through proper and legitimate channels. *Idanre has enjoyed a significant and commendable period of representation in the House of Representatives.* In the interest of fairness, equity, and balance, the principle of rotation must be respected.

Accordingly, it is only just and equitable that Ifedore be afforded the opportunity to produce the next representative in the House of Representatives, while aspirants from Idanre may consider channeling their aspirations toward the Senatorial seat. This approach reflects fairness, mutual respect, and a commitment to principled leadership.

Let it be clearly stated that the House of Representatives seat is not the exclusive preserve of any one group. Upholding the established understanding of rotation will further strengthen unity, trust, and cooperation across the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.

We urge the general public to remain vigilant and not be misled by unauthorized statements or politically motivated misinformation.
