The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reacted to the resignation of a former Minister in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet, describing the development as a positive step ahead of his alleged governorship ambition in Oyo State.
In a fresh political commentary, the cleric expressed relief over the exit of the former minister from the federal cabinet, saying it clears the path for clearer political decisions regarding his future ambitions.
Thank God he has resigned from Tinubu’s cabinet,” Primate Ayodele was quoted as saying, while commenting on the politician’s reported interest in contesting the governorship election in Oyo State.
According to him, remaining in the federal cabinet while pursuing governorship ambition could have created political distractions and complications; He suggested that the resignation now places the politician in a better position to focus on his state-level political aspirations.
Primate Ayodele further noted that governorship ambitions require full attention, deep grassroots engagement, and strategic planning, warning that holding dual political interests often weakens chances of success.
