OSRC DG/CE KENNETH ODUSOLA-STEVENSON SALUTES ONDO WORKERS ON INTERNATIONAL WORKERS’ DAY, HAILS AIYEDATIWA’S ‘OUR EASE’ AGENDA FOR PRIORITIZING WORKFORCE WELFARE

In a message steeped in a dignified and statesmanship to mark the 2026 International Workers’ Day, the Director General/Chief Executive of OSRC Media Group, Hon. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, has paid tribute to the workforce of Ondo State, describing them as _“the enduring architecture of governance, productivity, and social stability”_ whose daily sacrifice sustains the Sunshine State.

The DG/CE, in a statement released through the Corporate Communication Unit of OSRC Media Group, extended profound respect to workers across all sectors — public and private — from teachers and healthcare professionals to security personnel, media practitioners, artisans, engineers, and administrators. He noted that International Workers’ Day remains a global testament to the dignity of labor and the indispensable role of workers in advancing economic and institutional life.

“Today, we honor resilience made visible,” Odusola-Stevenson stated. “From the classrooms where futures are shaped, to the hospitals where lives are preserved, to the newsrooms where truth is documented, the workers of Ondo State keep the machinery of our commonwealth in motion. Their dedication, despite prevailing challenges, is an act of patriotism that deserves both recognition and reward.”

The OSRC chief particularly commended the _“harmonious industrial relations”_ between Ondo State workers and the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He observed that since assuming office, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated _“purposeful leadership rooted in the understanding that workers are the backbone of sustainable development.”_

Under the Governor’s _OUR EASE Agenda_, Odusola-Stevenson noted, the state has witnessed deliberate policies aimed at improving working conditions, ensuring prompt attention to workers’ needs, promoting industrial harmony, and creating an enabling environment for productivity and career growth.

“Government’s commitment is not rhetorical,” he affirmed. “It is reflected in policies and programmes designed to enhance service delivery while guaranteeing better opportunities, improved motivation, and greater economic security for workers across Ondo State. The Aiyedatiwa administration continues to prioritize wellbeing, welfare, and professional fulfillment as pillars of governance.”

As the state’s flagship broadcast institution, OSRC Media Group, Odusola-Stevenson added, remains _“proud of the immense contributions of workers to the peace, stability, and advancement of Ondo State.”_ He reaffirmed the Corporation’s mandate to inform, educate, and promote developmental strides of government while supporting initiatives that foster unity, progress, accountability, and inclusive development.

Addressing workers directly, the DG/CE urged steadfastness, discipline, and excellence in service delivery. “Your continued support, cooperation, and dedication are essential to the collective vision of building a stronger, greater, and more prosperous Ondo State for present and future generations,” he said.

Odusola-Stevenson concluded by expressing hope that the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration would _“renew our collective hope, strengthen our unity, and inspire greater accomplishments across all fields of endeavour.”_
