Hon. Akinrinwa Igbekele Celebrates Workers’ Day, Salutes Local Government Workers
Hon. Akinrinwa Igbekele, Special Adviser on Local Government Affairs to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has extended heartfelt felicitations to workers on the occasion of Workers’ Day, with special appreciation for local government workers
In his message, Hon. Igbekele commended workers for their unwavering dedication, commitment, and vital contributions to governance and development. He particularly acknowledged the pivotal role played by local government workers in bringing government closer to the grassroots and ensuring effective service delivery across communities.
He described them as the engine room of local administration, noting that their efforts remain essential to the success of policies and programs at the grassroots level.
Hon. Igbekele also reiterated the commitment of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration to prioritizing workers’ welfare, improving working conditions, and creating an enabling environment for optimal performance.
“Today, we celebrate your hard work, resilience, and sacrifices. Your contributions to the growth and development of our dear state are deeply appreciated,” he said.
He encouraged workers to remain diligent and continue to support the government in its drive to deliver good governance and sustainable development.
