BTO IS A GOD-SENT, SAYS LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

The Executive Chairman of Akoko North West Local Government, Ondo State, Honourable Esan Owolabi, has described the Minister of Interior, Honourable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as “God-sent” to Nigeria.
Owolabi made this remark on May 1, 2026, during a birthday celebration held in honour of the minister.
The event, initially scheduled to take place at the Akoko North West Local Government Secretariat, was relocated to the Chairman’s residence in Irun-Akoko due to the public holiday.
While celebrating the minister, the Chairman urged guests to emulate Tunji-Ojo’s leadership style, described him as an exemplary leader and a pathfinder worthy of admiration.
He expressed appreciation for the minister’s steady rise, noting that his achievements continue to inspire many.
“Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is a pathfinder for all to emulate. We are always proud to see him excel without any blemish,” he said.
Also speaking, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Musa Olasehinde, who spoke on behalf of other leaders, described the minister as a compassionate and accommodating individual.
“BTO is a good man with a large heart, always willing to carry everyone along. Without him, politics would not have become as engaging and participatory as it is today in Akoko North West,” he said.

The celebration featured moments of merriment and goodwill, with dignitaries in attendance including family members, community leaders from Irun-Akoko, Arigidi-Akoko, Afin-Akoko, Ese-Akoko, Ogbagi-Akoko, and numerous associates.
