The Deputy Director-General (DDG), Hon. Sir, you belong to the distinguished generation that built post-independence Nigeria with sacrifice, dedication, and patriotism.

From the glorious days of Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s free education programme and the UPN’s welfarist vision, you stood firmly where Afenifere stood — for true federalism, justice, equity, and the dignity of the Yoruba people within a united Nigeria.

Baba, the greatest gift you continue to offer us is not merely the stories of the past, but the enduring standards you have set for the future generations.

We pray that Almighty God will continue to strengthen and preserve you as an Elder Statesman worthy of emulation, honour, and commendation.
