*AROWELE’S FEAR: A CLEAR VALIDATION OF GUILT*
*Nemesis is Finally Catching Up With Him – Concerned APC Youths Warn Party Leadership Against Being Hoodwinked*
The Concerned APC Youths of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency have observed with dismay the recent statement issued by the Arowele Campaign Organization, which desperately attempts to portray their principal, *Hon. Samuel Ayo Arowele*, as a victim of persecution rather than a man facing the consequences of his actions.
Let us be clear: *Fear is the loudest validation of guilt.* The frantic cry of “plot to frame me” and “court injunction” is nothing but a preemptive strategy by a campaign that knows the ground is shifting beneath it. When a man begins to see shadows and enemies everywhere, it is often because his conscience and his record are haunting him.
Rather than addressing the genuine concerns of party members and delegates about competence, integrity, and track record, the Arowele Campaign has chosen to resort to victimhood narratives and conspiracy theories. This is a classic tactic of those who sense that failure looms large. A man with clean hands does not panic at the prospect of scrutiny; he welcomes it.
We wish to state unequivocally that:
1. *No one is above the law.* If investigations are ongoing or if security agencies are doing their work, it is not persecution — it is the system working. Arowole’s preemptive attempt to intimidate security agencies and the judiciary in advance is itself an admission that there are questions that must be answered. A clear surrender to evading justice.
2. *The people of Owo/Ose deserve better.* The delegates and party faithful cannot be hoodwinked by this drama. The sudden outburst of fear is a true reflection of guilt and a desperate attempt to manipulate the process and evade accountability.
3. *This is not about democracy; it is about desperation.* A campaign that truly enjoys massive acceptance does not need to preemptively accuse others of plotting arrest and court cases. Genuine popularity does not require such blackmail.
We strongly urge the leadership of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at both state and national levels, *not to be deceived* by these antics. An innocent conscience fears no accusation. The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu thrives on competence, integrity, and service — not on individuals who run from accountability while claiming to be victims.
The party must allow due process to take its full course. Any attempt to shield anyone under the guise of “political persecution” will only damage the image of the APC in Owo/Ose, leading to political aparthy and hand victory to the opposition.
We call on all genuine APC members, stakeholders, youths, and lovers of democracy to remain vigilant. The era of impunity is over. Let the best and most credible aspirant emerge through a transparent process. The people are watching.
Failure looms for those who think they can use fear, intimidation, and media gymnastics to force themselves on the party and the constituency. Nemesis, they say, is a patient hunter.
