The embattled cleric, who was remanded in custody by a High Court in Gwarimpa on Thursday after pleading not guilty to an eight-count charge of rape and sexual exploitation, is now facing mounting pressure and new accusations that he allegedly committed another sexual offence against a minor during the period he was granted bail.

Reliable sources told Sahara Reporters that the latest victim is also said to be a young girl from his church, raising serious questions about how the pastor allegedly continued his predatory behaviour even while facing trial for the first rape case.

Pastor Isah was initially arraigned for allegedly luring a 14-year-old girl into the church auditorium in Gwagwalada on May 26, 2025, locking the doors, and raping her. He was accused of giving the victim N3,000 afterwards and threatening to kill her and her family if she spoke out.

Despite the gravity of the charges, he was reportedly granted bail earlier, only to allegedly strike again.

The new allegations have triggered outrage and intensified calls for thorough investigation into the activities of the pastor and his ministry.

Many are now questioning the effectiveness of the justice system in protecting minors from sexual predators disguised as men of God.

As of press time, the court has ordered his remand, and further hearing has been adjourned to June 30, 2026. Pressure is reportedly mounting on authorities to ensure he remains behind bars as investigations into the fresh rape claim continue.
